Shipping policy
Worldwide delivery. Traceable. Always. Every JEMFYRD piece leaves our studio fully insured, individually tracked, and packaged to arrive as an object of consequence — never as a parcel. The terms below tell you exactly when it ships, when it arrives, and who carries the cost and the risk along the way.
1.1 Where we ship from and to
Orders are dispatched from our fulfilment operation in [India — Jaipur studio / nominated warehouse]. We ship worldwide, with active service to our primary markets — India, the United Arab Emirates, the United States, the United Kingdom, France and the wider EU/EEA — and to most other destinations on request. We do not ship to territories under applicable trade sanctions or where the import of precious-metal goods is prohibited.
1.2 Processing time
- In-stock pieces: dispatched within 2–4 business days of order confirmation.
- Complimentary engraving (orders above ₹12,000 or where selected): add 2–3 business days.
- Made-to-order, bespoke and Archive pieces: dispatched within the window stated on the product page or in your order confirmation; bespoke commissions are quoted individually.
- Business days exclude weekends and public holidays in the dispatch country. Orders placed on non-business days are processed the next business day.
1.3 Delivery timelines
- India (domestic): insured express, 3–6 business days after dispatch.
- UAE & GCC: international express, 4–8 business days after dispatch.
- United Kingdom & EU/EEA: international express, 5–10 business days after dispatch.
- United States & Canada: international express, 5–10 business days after dispatch.
- Rest of world: international express, 7–14 business days after dispatch.
Timelines are estimates from dispatch, not guarantees, and exclude time held in customs. We carry by trusted insured couriers [e.g., DHL, FedEx for international; Blue Dart, Delhivery for India].
1.4 Tracking, insurance and risk
A tracking link is emailed at dispatch. All shipments are insured in transit at full value. Risk of loss or damage passes to you on delivery to the address you provide (or to your nominated pick-up point or building reception). Because consignments are high-value, the carrier may require a signature on delivery.
1.5 Shipping charges
Shipping charges, where they apply, are calculated at checkout by destination, weight and declared value, and are shown before payment. Express upgrades and remote-area surcharges may apply and are shown at checkout. Shipping charges are non-refundable once an order has shipped, except where an item is faulty, incorrect or where mandatory consumer law in your country requires otherwise (see Part 2 and Part 12).
1.6 Duties, import taxes and customs
For our primary markets we aim to offer Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) — import duties and taxes are calculated and collected at checkout so nothing is owed on arrival. Where DDP is not available for a destination, orders ship Delivered At Place (DAP/DDU): you are the importer of record and are responsible for any duties, VAT/GST or clearance fees levied by your country. We cannot predict these charges and they are not included in our prices unless DDP is shown.
1.7 Address accuracy, failed and refused deliveries
- Incorrect or incomplete address: please check your details carefully. Where an order is returned to us or delayed because of an address error, re-delivery is at your cost. We will contact you before re-shipping.
- "Delivered but not received": tell us within 7 days of the tracking marking delivery. We will open an investigation with the carrier and, because shipments are insured, resolve it with a replacement or refund once the carrier completes its enquiry.
- Refused or unclaimed parcels: treated as a change-of-mind return — we refund the item value less the original outbound shipping and any duties already incurred.
- PO boxes / APO / FPO / military addresses: we generally cannot deliver insured high-value consignments to these; please provide a street address.
1.8 Split shipments
Occasionally an order is sent in more than one shipment (for example, when an in-stock piece ships ahead of an engraved one). You are not charged more for a split shipment, and each carries its own tracking.
